Lucca Mesinas and Leilani McGonagle win the 2018 Barbados Surf Pro

Lucca Mesinas Novaro and Leilani McGonagle claimed the 2018 Barbados Surf Pro, at Drill Hall Beach. The Peruvian surfer was able to defeat Brazilian powerhouse Alex Ribeiro in two-to-three-foot tropical surf. Despite the tricky conditions, Mesinas, nicknamed “The Silent Assassin,” found the best waves and smashed his opponent with a two-wave score of 17.57 points.
